Can this stay over the fire for hours and hours without being warped or melted
Joe - Sydney, NSW(1 year ago)
G'day Joe,
Generally, the tripod would be set up over your campfire for the duration of your trip, it's designed to be set up as a camp cooking aid, not something you'd need to repeatedly set up and pack up. The only consideration for removing it is if you wanted to absolutely crank your fire and make it massive when you're sitting around at night, but otherwise there wouldn't be any issues.

Maximum length of the legs1 answer
Hi, what is the length of each leg fully extended?
Ebert - Oran Park, NSW(3 years ago)
G'day Ebert,
The legs are a fixed length of 110cm, and are not extendable. The Tripod can be set up at a range of heights depending on how wide you spread out the legs and whether or not you dig them into the ground a little.

Height settings1 answer
This item has an adjustable chain, what are the heights, maximum and minimum?
Glen - Ipswich, QLD(3 years ago)
G'day Glen,
There's no minimum and maximum heights on this tripod sorry, it's fully adjustable so there are so many variables. Not only is the chain and hook adjustable but the 3 legs can be set at whatever distance you like. Obviously the closer the legs are the higher your oven and vice versa. The size oven you are using will also affect how high you can set up.

detachable central bolt?1 answer
can i remove the 3 legs freely from the central bolt? or are they fixed?
Bambi - Noosaville(3 years ago)
G'day Bambi,
The central bolt is fixed, so, unfortunately, you won't be able to detach the legs, but they freely move so you can adjust the leg angle.

hi, when the tri pod is opened, what is the triangle measurements?1 answer
i want to put on top of a circle fire pit
ada - 3175(4 years ago)
G'day Ada,
The Campfire Tripod is a fully flexible cooking frame that does not have a fixed size. Each leg loops around a central bolt and can be extended out as far as you like. You can set this up as small or large as you require.

Maximum pot size1 answer
Hello team,
Does this have a maximum pot size that can be suspended on the chain or will it handle any of the pots that you sell?
Warren - Hawthorne(7 years ago)
G'day Warren,
There is no official weight rating for the Campfire Tripod, however, as a guide, I wouldn't recommend anything more than a full 9QT camp oven (even this depending on the surface the tripod is on might be too much).
