Opaque—non see in from outside 1 answer
I have purchased a folding loo and want to know how much privacy would that fully enclosed annexe give me if I had loo set up in that area
Barry - Thornbury, NSW(1 year ago)
G'day Barry,
This screen room is made from mesh screening, so it's going to be see-through. Potentially in the middle of the day when it's really bright, it may be less see-through with light reflection, but ultimately I wouldn't be relying on it for privacy with my dacks down!

Any chance this would fit on a 210 lite?1 answer
Any chance this would fit on a 210 lite?
matt - St Leonards(6 years ago)
G'day Matt,
Unfortunately not. The Black Wolf Turbo Awning Screen Room 240 is just a little too big for the Black Wolf Turbo 210.

Is the floor waterproof1 answer
I know one of your other Q&A questions mentioned that this room would be rain and bug proof with side and front walls but what I'm wondering is if we are in a descent storm and there becomes quite a wet ground maybe some small water flow would the floor of this rooms floor keep the water out?
Joel - Geelong(6 years ago)
G'day Joel,
Good question. Being made from the same 500D polyester as the floor in the tent I'd expect the floor on the Screen Room to keep you as dry as the floor in your tent does.

Are you recommending using 2 ground sheets1 answer
I purchased the 240 Lite Plus tent along with matching ground sheet. If I also purchase this screen room (which then will sit on top of the extended ground sheet) are you suggesting I require another groundsheet to sit on the floor of the screen room to protect the mesh? In that case the mesh would be sandwiched between two groundsheets. Am wondering because of the previous Q & A.
Emmy - Melbourne(7 years ago)
Hi Emmy,Â
The groundsheet extends to the end of the awning, the screen room (which has a solid 500D polyester floor) sits on top of the groundsheet. The sides of the screen room are mesh, but not the floor so that shouldn't be an issue.Â

Does the screen room block the sun and provide shade or is it mainly used to keep insects out?1 answer
Janelle - REDCLIFFE, QLD(7 years ago)
Hi Janelle, the screen room is used to keep the insects out. Your Turbo awning will provide some shade, for further sun/wind protection you can add side and front panels.

Using the screen room without the fly. 0 answers
Hi, me again. I heard this can be done but would like confirmation. When I camp it rarely rains and not much wind.
Also, how waterproof will it and also the 240 lire be if it does rain?
Thanks again.

Floor on the screen room for bugs1 answer
Hi there. As I may wish to sleep in the screen room is the floor fully connected so nothing can get underneath? Are there any other accessories that will do this if I make it a bedroom?
Thanks,
Adam.
Adam - Malvern(8 years ago)
G'day Adam - It certainly does come with a full floor. A pretty hefty one too, so it'll keep the critters - and rain - out good and proper. Cheers, Paul

How does the screen room connect to the tent?1 answer
Is there a zipper or another fastening to stop the bugs getting into the main tent or is it just the clips?
Emily - PERTH, WA(8 years ago)
The Screen Rooms clip to the frame of the tent Emily, but don't actually attach to the fabric. To walk from the screen room to the main tent you would unzip the screen room door, then unzip the tent door, then step through. I guess this means that there is potential for insects to breach your insect free zone but is only of major concern if you were to leave the doors open, but this theory is the same for all doors of your tent when insects are prolific.

Can you use a second screen room in the extenda awning to double the enclosed space?2 answers
Ashley - ADELAIDE, SA(8 years ago)
Your question is well timed Ashley, I was able to confirm this with the head honcho's from Black Wolf who are visiting us in SA at the moment. You certainly can put a screen room under an Extenda Awning to extend the enclosed space outside of your tent. If you were to use the awning and screen room as a stand-alone shelter, you would need to use the three awning poles from your Black Wolf Turbo Tent.
Ben - Snowys(8 years ago)
Hi Ashley, I've come back to correct some information I have given you. I had a conversation with another Black Wolf representative who indicated these screen rooms cannot be pitched under the Extenda Awning. So I have gone directly to the designer of the range to get a clear cut answer! The official response is that the Awnings of the Turbo range are trapezoid in shape whereas the Extenda Awnings are square. This means the screen rooms will only fit under the existing Turbo Awning. I apologise if we have created any problems for you, please get in touch if you need to discuss anything - 1300 914 007.

Can you attach the side panels while the screen room is in place?1 answer
Paul - FORESTVILLE, NSW(9 years ago)
Hi Paul, no problems with this at all, you can attach a front panel also. The screen room clips in underneath the awning of your Turbo Tent whilst the side and front panels attach to the edges. This gives you tons of versatility enabling you to create a whole new living space inside your tent when you need it.

Wont the floor be punctured by chairs or table???2 answers
Menno - CITY BEACH, WA(9 years ago)
Hi Menno, the floor is the same 500D polyester as used in the Turbo Lite tents, and we have never heard of chairs or tables puncturing this fabric. If you use a groundhseet, don't drag your furniture around inside the tent, and make sure your tables and chairs don't have sharp edges on the feet, you shouldn't have any problems.
Ben - Snowys(9 years ago)
I usually use old sheets on my tent floor. Others use those rubber matting things that you put together.
