Shape of footprint1 answer
Hi guys I'm looking for a 1 P footprint to use under a S2S tarp/poncho (bought from you) as part of an ultra light camping set up. I'm curious as to whether the MSR one is actually a rectangular footprint. (I don't have a MSR tent but my research say they are rectangular in actual shape). I appreciate that there are other products out there like Tyvek that I could use that are cheaper but they are relatively slippery so looking for another alternative that I can possible stake down if I have to. If you have other alternatives happy to hear them also. regards paul

G'day Paul,
The Universal Footprints have a rectangular shape, and can be pegged down through loops on all 4 corners. You shouldn't have any issues using this as a groundsheet with you tarp - just bare in mind being a 1P size its quite narrow, incase you want to have your pack, etc also not directly on the ground.

Suitability1 answer
Hi will this footprint suit a macpac sololight 1 person tent?
Kristen - Vic(3 years ago)
G'day Kristen,
I'd dare say this would probably suit a Macpac sololight tent, however we don't really know anything about Macpac products sorry. I'd recommend checking the size of the tent, and comparing that to the external dimensions of the Universal 1P Footprint.
