Joining tarp1 answer
Could these be used to join tarps? Could two tarps fit in the joiner to add a wall onto a tarp shelter. Thanks
Edward - Toowoomba, QLD(1 year ago)
G'day Edward,
That's a brilliant question, and I think they probably could. We haven't tried it out before, but I'm thinking it may even be better to fold over the edge of the roof tarp, slightly overlapping the top of the wall one, to create a stormflap in rainy weather. If you decide to give it a go, please let us know how it turns out - I think its a cracking idea.

Stupa peg tarp gripper1 answer
Will these grip Ripstop material enough or is it too thin?
Rod - Elderslie (3 years ago)
G'day Rod,
Ripstop refers to a reinforced thread in a grid pattern through the fabric, and comes in varying weights and materials. If you're using a Coton Canvas Ripstop, you'll be fine, but something fine like a Sil Nylon would not be recommended.

How strong is the grip?1 answer
I was curious how strong these are? What I was wanting to attempt is to attach these to my Oztrail Mitchell swag (Old one before eyelets) so I can then use a swag pole such as the https://www.snowys.com.au/swag-pole-plus-kit to make it freestanding. Or would you suggest any other options? Downsides of the older swags not having the newer features.
Anthony - Tamworth(3 years ago)
G'day Anthony,
They've got great grip, so you could use them to try and make your swag free-standing. The other option to consider would be to grab an eyelet kit and add some eyelets into your swag to use a ridge pole kit.
