Probably one of the more innovative and quirky outdoor brands, Exped don't let any misconceptions get in the way of what could be a revolutionary idea.

The brand started in the early 80's as a distributor of outdoor brands and evolved to make their own gear in 1997. One of their more notable 'quirky' products was the wearable sleeping bag back in the late 90's and the world's first truly waterproof sleeping bag at the turn of the century.

Probably best known for their highly acclaimed down filled sleeping mattresses, the range now includes some innovative tent designs, technical backpacks, trekking poles and a range of outdoor accessories with a difference. They cater for the ultralightweight adventurer and camper alike with some compact and featherweight mats along with luxurious and thick pads suitable for swags and family tents. All swiss designed with multiple awards for their designs, Exped products are money well spent.
